It’s Time !!!   Shop Retirement  sale !!! 

I am retiring in the coming months - (anticipating  mid July), from my retail shop “Li’l Bloke’s” 163 View St, Bendigo after almost 19 years. 

It will be tinged with some sadness- leaving my Dad’s old address where he conducted his electrical business,  but at least I will retain my business name  (Li'l Bloke's) given by him in my childhood,  and will continue my business in a different format. 

I look forward to catching up with,  and personally thanking my past and current supporters/customers  and perhaps meeting some new ones over the next couple of months. If you can’t make it to take advantage of this sale, I thank you for your support over those 19 years, plus  6 though mail order prior to that. 

Sale includes - End of fabric bolt 50% and 

 40% off most other items. 

Some exclusions apply - details will be on my blog (lilblokes.blogspot.com) and posted in store hopefully by tomorrow. 

Mail order customers may take advantage of the sale prices but postage and handling will be applied on all items. 

Those participating in any of my Boms - these will still be available for you to continue. 

Take advantage of sales as business will continue and normal prices will resume after the sale. Get in quick !!! 

I plan to open my mini studio near to the end of August. 

Discounted Sale purchases will not count towards Fabric card rewards progress, 

so if you wish to take advantage of your fabric card, normal price will be charged then the appropriate bonus will be applied, or it can be used after August.

Winter break

I am off to have a short winter break next weekend, so the shop will be closed from Tuesday August 9th and re opening Saturday  August 20th. 

Wendy will be happy to meet you on Saturday 20th, then I will be back on Tuesday 23rd.

Li'l Bloke's will be closed on Wednesday October 28th due to the Bendigo  Public Holiday for the Bendigo Cup.

Half day closure this Wed Jan 29th

Due to a family funeral which Wendy and i will both attend, the shop will be closed this Wednesday morning possibly until about 1:30 due to my Aunt's ( and Wendy's great Aunt) funeral.

Bendigo Cup Day

The shop will be closed  (as almost all Bendigo shops will be)
for the Bendigo Cup this coming Wednesday October 30th.

I wish to announce that the shop will be closed this coming Saturday ( Sept 28th) for personal family reasons.
I apologise to anyone who may have travelled  to the shop and found it closed.

Shop closure for 2 bereavements

I wish to advise you, that due to the passing of two of my aunties over the past few days, I will be closed Thursday (all day) and Friday (afternoon) of this week. 

Both Wendy and I will be attending the funerals.

I apologise to those who may have visited (or planned a visit) at those times.

Melbourne Cup

Yes I will be open tomorrow (November 6th) from 10-4 although it is the Melbourne Cup.
Whilst Melbourne will be practically shut down, I, in Bendigo will be available to provide service both via mail order or retail.

Bendigo Cup shop closure

Birthday Sale

Last days for birthday sale!!!

My 12th Birthday Sale will finish on October 30th as the shop will be closed on the 31st for Bendigo Cup Day.

Normal hours resumed

Back to normal hours:

From today (Tuesday August 21st) normal hours have resumed (10-4 Tuesday to Friday and 10-2 Saturdays).I  apologise for any inconvenience for the reduced hours over  the previous fortnight, but do encourage people who are traveling to look at my blog regularly or contact the shop for any changes if they propose to visit. I needed a little time to recharge the batteries whilst doing some design work away from it all. Hopefully I will have some snapshots of some new projects to show you soon.

Change to shop hours from August 7th -18th.

Days of opening remain the same: Tuesday  to Saturday, but the shop will open from 10-2 only.

Then, from Tuesday August 21st normal hours will resume ( 10-4 Tuesday to Friday and 10-2 Saturday).
